It is Dr. Schlesinger’s goal to provide the highest possible care to his patients. Treating everyone as if it was his health or that of a family member assures the highest standard of care no matter what type or level of treatment is given.
Dr. William Schlesinger DDS, MAGD, ABGD, AFAAID was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1984. He received his doctoral degree from one of the country’s top rated dental schools, The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1988. Moving back to the New York metropolitan area, Dr. Schlesinger was a resident and then chief resident in Dentistry at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Upon completion of his residency in 1990, Dr. Schlesinger became a member of the house staff at Queens General Hospital, a position he held until 2001. As Assistant Attending he was able to give back to the program that helped make him a highly trained clinician.
At the same time Dr. Schlesinger started private practice as an associate in several practices including those of some of his instructors from the hospital program. Dr. Schlesinger is a member of many professional organizations including the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and the American Dental Association.
